About Michael Garrell

Michael Garrell is a native New Yorker, visual artist, former fashion model, and actor. He is also an advocate for the physically and developmentally disabled, and advocates in the area of housing in all boroughs of the city. Writing has always been a strong aspect of not only his creativity, but of service to those who seek his assistance in human services.

All Blondes Live In Manhattan is a unique story with five main characters, four being the unexpected city blondes, and the fifth being the borough of Manhattan. Michael has always had a fascination with the city he was born in, and of the people in it. Perhaps this is a love letter, in a matter of speaking, to many of the women who are not celebrated often enough. The many women who struggle to find meaning, purpose, and love. Michael is a writer who seeks to find humanity.
